OUR STAFF AND FACULTY AT WORD OF LIFE CHRISTIAN ACADEMY 

Each member of our staff at Word of Life Christian Academy believes teaching is more than a job, it is a ministry in which we can serve the Lord. Our preschool teachers have a degree and/or credentials in early childhood education or have extensive experience and training in the field. Our elementary teachers hold their degree in elementary education. Each one is dedicated to making WOLCA a program of academic excellence.

Kindergarten- Nicole Shirvani graduated from the University of Valley Forge with a Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood Education.  This is her 4th year at WOLCA. Maternity Leave Substitute Teacher: Emily Woznica has her Bachelors in Studio & Digital Arts from Liberty University.  This is her first year at WOLCA.

Kindergarten Assistant-Mary Meier

First Grade- Stacy Hart has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Childhood and Special Education from SUNY Geneseo.  This is her 2nd year at WOLCA.

Second Grade-Loren Metallo

3&4 Math, Science, & Social Studies-Karen Woodward has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education and a Masters  in Literacy from Roberts Wesleyan College.  This is her 10th year at WOLCA.

3-6 ELA –Lindsey Salvage has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from SUNY Cortland and is currently pursuing her Masters in Literacy. This is her 3rd year at WOLCA.

5&6 Math & Science-Sarah Aikens has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Inclusive Childhood Education from Houghton College. This is her 2nd year at WOLCA.
