	Word of Life Christian Academy is committed to providing students with an education that promotes growth in all areas of development: spiritual, academic, physical and emotional. We are privileged to be able to reinforce Biblical teaching and Christian values at school that correspond with those taught at home. Our Philosophy

Statement of Faith
We believe:

• the Bible is the inspired and only infallible
and authoritative written Word of God
• there is one true God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the holy Spirit
• in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His personal future return to this earth in power and glory to rule a thousand years
• in the blessed hope - the rapture of the church at Christ’s coming
• the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ
• regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation.
• in water baptism by immersion
• the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer
• the baptism in the Holy Spirit according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it
• in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life
• in the resurrection of the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation

Tuition
Your value for your tuition dollars include:

• Biblical teaching and practice
• Parental participation in the education of their children
• Good parent/school/teacher communication
• Smaller classes in order to provide individual attention
• Reinforced moral values that are taught at home
• Strong academic program
• Safe haven for children
• Relationship with God, friends and school family

Tuition will cover basic educational costs, such as salaries, administrative costs, building and equipment maintenance, utilities, classroom expense, educational materials and programs for all grades and includes textbooks for kindergarten and elementary grades. All students will be provided with testing materials, arts and crafts, library resources and services that are administered yearly to provide a basis for evaluating the educational progress of each student.

School Safety
Word of Life Christian Academy and Preschool is located in south campus of the Word of Life Assembly of God church. The school portion of the building remains locked during school hours. Doors open five minutes and after school hours for drop off and pick up of students. Guests and late student's must sign in and obtain a visitor's pass from the church office in the north campus before entering the school campus area (as well as sign out upon departure). The building is equipped with motion sensor alarms during overnight hours is locked after business hours and/or church activities.

A Word from our
Principal Joanne Bovee
As I sit and write this today I think back years ago to the day I sat in this same office on the other side of this desk speaking with Pastor Randy Czyz. At that time the new church addition was not built and this was his office. I had recently visited his church and had many questions. I was seeking something more in my life. That day he met with me was a new beginning for me. That day, I sat and prayed the sinner's prayer and asked Jesus to be my Savior, my Lord and leader of my life. That was the day I gave my heart completely to Jesus Christ. Little did I know back then what the Lord had planned for me. The office I gave my heart to Jesus in is now my office years later! It is so exciting! I think about how the Lord must have been smiling thinking about His wonderful plan thinking, "Oh if she only knew."

In 2002 the Lord put it heavy on my heart that there should be a school here and He was calling me to be a part of it. He birthed a vision and a passion so big it poured out of me. And He confirmed it through His Word over and over again. He filled me with a desire to build a school in which students can learn academically as they grow spiritual. He showed me how important a child's academic, physical, and spiritual growth is intertwined. I wanted to create a learning environment to nurture all three areas of development. I set to work and offered my proposal to the elders of the church fall of 2002 and they approved. We opened Word of Life Christian Preschool in Fall 2003 and started to add elementary grades the following school year. God pours out His blessings upon our school over and over again. He often provides for needs even before we ask! He is faithful and loving! I am thrilled to be able to serve Him in this capacity and I am humbled He has allowed me to be a part of this growing ministry.

and Preschool Parent and
Teacher Fellowship (PTF)
Our Parent Teach Fellowship is a great way for parents to get involved and stay connected with our school and our teachers.

Our PTF holds monthly meetings for parents to attend. It is a wonderful chance to get to know the other parents and keep involved with their child's education and school activities.
