Prayer Partners Become a Prayer Partner and pray for staff, students, friends and family of your church’s ministry Word of Life Christian Academy and Preschool. Why are we asking for prayer? We believe that prayer is one of the cornerstones of our ministry. Not only does prayer keep our team and ministry humble as we bow before a sovereign God, it also honors His word, as we are told in Thessalonians 5:17 (NASB) to “pray without ceasing.” We also believe that prayer is a practical way to exchange our worries and praises, as Philippians 4:6-7 says, “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests by made known to God. And the peace of God which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” You can be the one who “stands in the Gap” for the children that attend WOLAP - so that we might educate with Biblical integration for success in today’s world. Our first and foremost endeavor is to have Christ in the center of our learning. Will you pray? “The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.” - James 5:16 How do you become a Prayer Partner? Easy Ways to Help Support Word of Life Academy: That’s right! There are simple ways you can make a difference at Word of Life Christian Academy and Preschool. Send your used Computer Ink Toner Cartridges or Box Tops and Campbell Soup Labels our way. You can turn them in at the welcome center at the Word of Life Church or by the school office. You can even give them to directly to a student to take in. We turn these in for cash and needed school supplies.
We also participate in Tools for School. Just use your AdvantEdge Card when you do your grocery shopping after registering your card for our school at www.pricechopper.com. Our school code is 27928. When you purchase specially tagged items at Price Chopper our school gets bonus points towards supplies.
It is easy for people to people to register for a session and raise money for Word of Life Christian Academy when they visit Make and Take Gourmet! 1. Go to our web site www.makeandtakegourmet.com 2. Register for a session to make 6 or 12 meals and on the checkout page they just need to enter “Word of Life Christian Academy” in the “notes” box. Word of Life Christian Academy recieves 10% off all proceeds. 4. You also call us to register at 315-701-0472 and mention Word of Life Christian Academy.
