WORD OF LIFE CHRISTIAN ACADEMY GRADES K-6

Our elementary school day begins at 8:45am

The administration and faculty at Word of Life Christian Academy realize the importance of a strong Christian based curriculum. That is why we go out of our way researching many options. We feel we have compiled a comprehensive curriculum that not only meets all NYS learning standards; but also can meet the needs of each individual’s learning style. Lesson designs focus on success for all students.

Word of Life offers children Christian role models at school who are able to daily demonstrate and reinforce Christ-like behavior, attitudes, and relationships. Our staff view Christian education as a ministry. The Bible teaches us to “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6. We take that command seriously and enjoy the chance to share God’s unconditional love. We are able to incorporate biblical teaching in areas such as character education, classroom relationships, and discipline.

Because our class sizes are smaller, children receive individualized attention. Teachers are able to give special attention where needed or to give an advanced learner some added challenges. Teachers are able to develop a close working relationship with students and their families in order to promote academic excellence.
